The accompaniment in arpeggio consists of playing one string at a time with the right hand. The arpeggio (or finger picking) adapts very well on a classical guitar. Normally the thumb grips the sixth, the fifth or the fourth string (the fundamental chord). While the index, the major and the annular grips respectively the third, the second and the first string.
The thumb will have to grip the cord downwards. The index, the major one and the annular will have to grip the cords upwards.
